Part-Time Employment Rate in Canada by Gender and Age Group (2021)

The proportion of part-time employment represents the percentage of individuals working part-time jobs relative to the total number of employed persons. For a specific group (such as by age, gender, or region), it is calculated by dividing the number of part-time workers in that group by the total employed population of the same group and expressing the result as a percentage. These estimates are rounded to one decimal place.
